Forum Clubhouse is thrilled to announce the receipt of a $120,000 grant from the City of Westfield. This generous funding, part of the American Rescue Plan Act, is designed to support community programs and businesses recovering from the pandemic. Forum Clubhouse will utilize the grant to renovate the Hospitality Unit, including new cabinets, appliances, and flooring, as well as painting walls and laying down new flooring throughout the facility. These upgrades will enhance the learning environment for members developing hospitality and culinary skills.

In addition, Forum Clubhouse has received a $9,500 grant from the Westfield Academy to support the launch of our new Language Lab. The Language Lab will assist colleagues in improving their language skills or learning a second language through the Rosetta Stone program. For more information about the Language Lab, please contact Michelle DeGray at mdegray@viability.org or Erin Godfrey at egodfrey@viability.org.

Forum Clubhouse also celebrates another successful year of volunteering at the Glasgow Lands annual Scottish Festival. For 30 years, this festival has brought Scottish culture, music, athletic games, and goods to the Pioneer Valley. Dedicated to supporting local non-profit organizations, the festival organizers have donated proceeds to both Forum House and River Valley Counseling Center. Forum Clubhouse has proudly volunteered at this event, and the donations from Glasgow Lands have helped us improve our clubhouse with new equipment, technology, and necessary items.

We are grateful for the ongoing support from our community and look forward to continuing our mission of fostering career growth and skill development for our members.
